One of the significant changes in my exploration during Unit 3 was shifting away from focusing solely on ambiguous images. I began considering how to extend the definition of what can be considered ambiguous images and the method of bring layers together.
Medium-wise, I moved beyond traditional ambiguous images and started using collage techniques. By merging and weaving together different political images and posters, I aimed to explore the tension between these narratives.

Content-wise, I became more specific about discussing Chinese patriotism (Chunghwa Minzu) and the constructed identity of the Chinese nation. I realised that the Chinese identity is a construct rather than a consistent, existing narrative, often taken for granted.
